This 13th century church, given to the Dominicans, was enlarged by Michelozzo in the 15th century along with the conventual complex, then by Giambologna in 1580.
The baroque fašade dates from the 18th century.
The interior, with a single nave, has several chapels: the Salviati Chapel is dedicated to St. Antoninus of Florence. The reliquary sarcophagus containing his body is under the altar. Numerous paintings by Renaissance painters adorn the walls of the church.
